Kids Who Can is affiliated with the national Kids Care Club organization (www.kidscare.org).  Kids Care Clubs are designed to develop compassion and a spirit of charity in children through hands-on service projects that benefit the needy in their local and global communities.  These Clubs consist entirely of children volunteers and served 3.6 million people nationwide last year.

Kids Who Can benefits the Oconomowoc community in a two-tiered fashion:
  • By strengthening our children and supporting those in need.
  • By participating in a thriving, active volunteer club, children, like those participating in Kids Who Can, learn at an early age the importance of giving back and how important it is to be contributing members of their community.

Beyond citizenship, kids can learn many life lessons from charity:  cooperation, tolerance, problem solving, communication, self awareness, confidence, respect for life and loyalty.

Come get in on the act of serving others at our FIRST KWC meeting of the year.

FRIDAY, Oct. 3, 6:30-8:00, at our new location, Lord Of Life Church.

We'll give a brief intro to any newcomers (bring your friends!) and then dive right in to 3 big hands on projects -- Emergency bags for Waukesha County Foster Care, 105 treat bags for Shorehaven residents, 50 birthday-in-a-bags for Oconomowoc Food Pantry.
