Artisan Vendor Event is a once a year event where GFWC OJWC brings in approximately 40 vendors, crafters or artists that can sell their goods or services. Each participant is given booth space consisting of an eight foot table. In return, the vendors are all charged a table/booth fee of $40. One to two members will send out communication requesting artists or vendors for this event. It is normally communicated via social media, emails, in person requests, or formal request letter. This is the majority of the member hours.
The event will run on a designated day and time. We also request (not required) for each vendor or artist participant to donate an item for our door prizes. Door prize tickets are given as customers enter the event. Overall, this event requires minimal volunteer hours and really has a large return to the club in such a short amount of time. This money helps to bring in additional funds to help donate to community needs and maintain club programs..
